Bakke's new book fearlessly puts muscle into the faith equation with what he calls "performance-based prayer." Bakke's high octane lifestyle is both intentional, and a calling. "We are to be the light on the hill that cannot be hidden," says Bakke, "and that requires performance, which in its Biblical contexts means to rise up, endure, battle, finish and succeed. This is the essence of performance-based prayer. A person shouldn't just pray and sit, waiting for miracles to fall on their lap. They need to pray, rise up get in the game. Once they do that, then God can come down and work through them, but they need to get to work, first." Bakke's new book includes photos to prove miracles are real and that performance-based prayer, works.
According to Bakke, the book is successful because it drills into the heart of the reader and touches the life they are trying to unleash. "It's a fact," says Bakke, "the majority of people wish they had the courage to live a life true to themselves. Prayer at Full Throttle gives the reader the courage they need to blow the door off their cage and start living the life they know they were designed to be living."
Prayer at Full Throttle is available at www.amazon.com in paperback and e-book.
